Trained as a lawyer, Marie-Chantal spent a lot of time trying to decide whether to follow her mind or her passion. She found a compromise the day she became an artist’s agent, and for the following nine years, she devoted herself to representing writers, music to image composers, editors, and directors at a prestigious Montreal artistic agency. The exhilarating feeling of helping to place an artist, or bring a project to life quickly confirmed that a compromise made long ago had turned into a wonderful surprise. A content enthusiast, she was proud to promote the talent of her protégés; she fed off the success of the artists she accompanied in the Quebec audiovisual industry that knows no borders.

She was offered a golden opportunity when she joined the Amalga team in 2021 as an analyst and content producer. Possessed by words, all of her passions finally came together. In addition to scriptwriting herself, she devotes herself wholeheartedly to developing the worlds of the creators in her care.
