ANALYST, CONTENT PRODUCER
Active in the industry for fifteen years, Jessica began her career in documentary production (Hippocrate) before switching to fiction, first in the public sector at Radio-Canada, then in the private sector, where she was recruited by Attraction Images. Alongside her role as producer, Jessica often acts as an external consultant for the SODEC. Her keen sense of content is in demand both in cinema (Merci pour tout) and for television (Fragments, Olivier, Fatale-Station). More recently, she oversaw the web series Discrètes, a noire feminist thriller that won a Gémeaux award for the best original production for digital media. In 2020, Jessica completed a master’s in communications at the UQAM. Her dissertation project, based in the sociology of media, earned the support of prestigious SSHRC and FRQSC scholarships.
