Le Trip à trois is about Estelle (Mélissa Désormeaux-Poulin), a typical 34-year-old wife and mother who is getting stuck in a rut. A series of events challenges her identity to the point where she comes to realize that the crux of her existential crisis is sexual. Way beyond her comfort zone, she challenges herself to organize a threesome. She brings her equally inexperienced partner Simon (Martin Matte), along for the fun!
