La règle de (3) is a surreal romantic comedy. In each episode, Laurence (Mickaël Gouin) and Fred (Léane Labrèche-Dor), a young couple expecting a baby, take a step towards distancing themselves from each other. Even if they are still in love, they decide to separate before things go wrong, while still planning to raise their child together. They call on a bizarre company, that specializes in breakups, to facilitate the process and prevent them from reconsidering their decision.
